More on Denise’s I Ching series here
Denise Weaver Ross is an accomplished poet and visual artist whose work fuses image, myth, and language. She is the author of several books blending poetry and art, including Midwest by Northeast by Southwest and the four-volume House of Cards series, later collected as House of Cards: The Whole Deck. Her first stand-alone poetry collection, Letters to the Deceased & Other Missives, showcases her lyrical style apart from images. Her poetry has also appeared in national and international anthologies and journals such as Oddball Magazine.
Her latest project, 64 Hexagrams & Haiku, pairs her series of paintings inspired by the I Ching with companion haikus written under the tutelage of haiku master Scott Wiggerman, and is available both as a book and a card deck that together form a tool for creative and spiritual exploration.
